Horse Rug Size Guide

If you have a new horse or are just unsure which size rug your horse needs it is useful to take certain measurements of your horse.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A) at the centre point of the chest, across the point of the shoulder and to the point (B) at the centre of the tail. When you have the measurement, remove 10cm (4inches) and choose your horse's size from the table below. Bear in mind that every horse is different and that you may need to consider a larger sized rug if you horse is particularly strongly built.

Coming in an easily transportable bucket, this farrier dressing is just what you need to take to different arenas and competitions for your horse where convenient. It can be used before turnout, when your horse is stabled up, to complete the tacking process or whenever else you feel you need to. This liquid product gives defence against waterborne threats and encourages and develops growth of the hoof. Expertly blended to enable deep penetration into the horn and help prevent premature cracking and drying, as well as protecting the hoof capsule from the outside in.
