Horse Rug Size Guide

If you have a new horse or are just unsure which size rug your horse needs it is useful to take certain measurements of your horse.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A) at the centre point of the chest, across the point of the shoulder and to the point (B) at the centre of the tail. When you have the measurement, remove 10cm (4inches) and choose your horse's size from the table below. Bear in mind that every horse is different and that you may need to consider a larger sized rug if you horse is particularly strongly built.

With an integrated full neck for additional protection from the elements, this heavy weight turnout rug is perfect for horses who are more sensitive to the cold. Featuring a 600D ripstop outer, 300gsm insulated fill and nylon lining, this outdoor rug fastens securely with double buckle breast fastenings, twin cross surcingles and elasticated detachable leg straps. This turnout rug also features shoulder and neck pleats to reduce rubbing and allow a greater freedom of movement.
