An update from our Brand Ambassador, Jessica Burnham ...

Life in Lockdown ...
If you’d asked me earlier this year, I was pleased to have made it through the months of January and February with the dark mornings and cold weather to hit the ground running for the 2020 eventing season, until non-stop rain resulted in our runs being either abandoned or cancelled. At the time, I was extremely disappointed when our plans were literally aborted. However, looking back this now seems quite small, compared to the pandemic.
On a positive note, life in lockdown hasn’t been all bad. With no school and lots of time to play ponies. Whilst I’ve really missed competing, catching up with family and friends, I decided early on to keep the horses ticking over and work on those marginal gains, in readiness for competitive sport to resume.
With British Eventing making plans to return to competition from next month, it will be interesting to see how this works… I have to admit I’m looking forward to getting out of the cross country start box, that’s if the ground isn’t too hard!
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone at Millbry Hill Country Store in Richmond for being amazing and ensuring the horses have everything they need in such times.
You are simply the best!
Stay safe and well, Jess.
P.S – Coming soon my review on British Horse Feeds’ Fibre-Beet, Speedi-Beet, Cooked Linseed and its sister company, Gold Paste’s Turmer-Aid.
