Apologies for the lack of updates recently, unfortunately I managed to get a virus 6 weeks ago and it has made me dizzy and have chronic fatigue. Not great when you want to ride and compete!
A few members of the Millbry Hill team have been fortunate enough to attend the Saracen “Feeding the Performance Horse Day” at Carl Hester’s yard, and we thought it would be great to have a catch up with them to find out what it was all about…!
July was a very busy month. I had no expectations of competing for Great Britain this year at all, I was just hoping to get back into the swing of things and doing more low key things until next year. But after our win at Somerford premier league, that completely turned things around and we were selected for Hartpury and Hickstead CDI in July!

“Eventing is a game of snakes and ladders” The Eventing season is now well and truly underway and we are currently building up to Bramham next week with candy (OBOS Impressive), having done a good test bar two silly blips and a great Show Jumping performance. STAFF and customers at Millbry Hill raised more than £2,400 for Macmillan Cancer Support after they joined forces to stage a fashion show. The event was the brainchild of Liz Jones, Marcia Sanderson and Christine Swiers.
