BOCM Pauls Farmgate Sow & Weaner Nuts Pig Feed (Size: 20 kg)

 BOCM Pauls Farmgate Sow & Weaner Nuts is a highly palatable breeder diet designed to be fed to sows and their progeny.  Farmgate Sow & Weaner Nuts ensure good milk production which results in well grown, healthy piglets that can be weaned from 8 weeks of age.

BOCM Pauls Farmgate Sow & Weaner Nuts are suitable for all pig breeds and are also suitable for Micro Pigs an Micro Piglets.

Feeding Guide:
 BOCM Pauls Farmgate Sow & Weaner Nuts should be offered once daily or at a rate of between 3-6kg per sow and litter, depending on the environmental conditions and the size of piglets.

Follow on/rearing diets:  At 8 weeks of age piglets should be gradually introduced over a 3 day period to the appropriate pig finisher diet.

Feeding Micro Pigs:
Micro piglets can be fed BOCM Pauls Farmgate Sow & Weaner Nuts at a rate of 500g - 600g per day, ideally split into two meals. As your micro pig gets older and becomes fully grown this amount can be gradually increased to 1-2kg.

As your Micro Pig reaches his full adult size, you should keep an eye on his weight and you may need to change to a lower fat/protein pig feed - we would recommend Allen & Page Pot Bellied Pig Food as a suitable pig food for adult Micro Pigs. When changing your Micro Pigs diet, whether from a different feed type or brand, always make the change slowly. Mix your Micro Pigs food to a minimum of 40% / 60% (with 60% of current food). Changing the diet, either by changing the type of pig food or even brand of pig food too rapidly can cause various problems with your Micro Pig's stomach and digestive system.

Additional Information:
Store Farmgate pig feed in a cool dry place.  Always keep feeding utensils and hoppers clean.  Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
