James Wellbeloved Light Turkey & Rice is a wholesome complete dried dog food for less active or overweight adult dogs. As a white meat turkey is full of goodness and is very gentle on the digestive tract. Turkey is a better white meat choice than chicken for a hypo-allergenic food because some dogs are known to have already developed a chicken hypersensitivity. A sensitivity to turkey is less likely because turkey is not used as much in pet food, so dogs will not have been over-exposed to it.
James Wellbeloved Adult Turkey Lamb & Rice enables managed weight reduction with lower physical density to give more food in bowl and higher fibre to help satisfy hunger. James Wellbeloved Light also contains higher protein to encourage loss of fatty tissue rather than muscle tissue.
James Wellbeloved Light also promotes a healthy, glossy coat with a blend of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, helps to reduce stool odour with added yucca extractand encourages beneficial bacteria in the gut with an added prebiotic - natural chicory inulin. James Wellbeloved Light also contains joint support (JW+ - chondroitin, glucosamine & herbs).
