NAF Limestone Flour provides a rich source of natural calcium. This supplement is designed to support bone growth and maintenance requirements. NAF pure Limestone Flour should be fed when there is a need for additional calcium in the diet to supplement bone health and is ideal for adult horses on a restricted diet and pregnant & lactating mares to help support the growth and development of her foal.
NAF Limestone Flour can be fed all year round to adult horses which require additional calcium, particularly where a diet high in straight cereals is fed.
An average horse should be fed NAF Limestone Flour at a rate of 70g (one scoop) per day, and ponies at a rate of 35ml per day. Pregnant/Lactating Mares can be fed 150g (2 scoops) per day. 3kg tub of NAF Limestone Flour fed at 70g per day will last up to 42 days.
