Gastric ulcer syndrome is most commonly associated with Thoroughbred racehorses and it is believed that between 80-90% suffer from this condition. The Dodson & Horrell Thoroughbred team work closely with trainers offering nutritional advice and support, and several of them were happy to trial Ulca-Tonic. Ulca-Tonic is an 100% pure herbal mix containing liquorice root, pumpkin seeds, slippery elm powder, comfrey leaf and mint for horses prone to gastric ulcers. To encourage the fussiest feeders, Ulca-Tonic is made in a tincture form so it can be easily added to feed and can actually help to encourage appetite.
