The Neue Schule Waterford Full Cheek Horse Bit helps with control, lift and steering. The Full cheek will not allow the mouthpiece to slide across the mouth when turning and the upper cheek may be fitted with Fulmer Loops to create poll pressure and promote a rounder outline. The Full Cheek also helps with straightness and turning.
As the Waterford bends in every direction it usually suits all types of mouth conformation, including big, fat tongues. This slimmer, innovative Waterford mouthpiece features a lip shelf which eradicates the previously common problem of rubs.
