Full Cheek French Link Eggbutt is useful for horses that are unsure of the bit as it doesn't move around to much in the mouth. The bit is particularly useful for horses that nap, by applying pressure to the cheek when a turning aid is given. The French link has proved one of the most popular bits; it has 2 joints, which means the pressure of the bit is distributed over both the tongue and bars of the mouth.
