During the winter, most horses wear rugs all day, everyday, and this can lead to rubbing, even with a well fitting rug. The Fleece Vest from Shires helps to eliminate this problem. The vest is made from equi-fleece and in addition to preventing rubbed patches appearing on the horses shoulders, it also helps to keep the horse warm. The vest slips on over the horses head and is then held in place with an elasticated surcingle which fastens across the horse's girth area.
