Cavalor Comfort - Basefeed 01 from Versele-Laga is formulated for competition horses at light work (4 - 8 hours a week). The choice of basic raw materials is expressly tailored to the light work performance, on the one hand, and the wish to keep feeding costs low on the other.
Through the clever use of natural products and an insight into the actual need of the competition horses that do light work, a mix has been composed which more than fulfils the requirements of an excellent basic feed. Attention was also given to the taste aspect so that horses like to eat it.
Cavalor Comfort - Basefeed 01 should be given together with hay and straw. This competition mix can also be given with limited grazing (1 kg hay = 5 kg grass) to ensure the horse gets all its basic nutritional needs.
Directions for use
Daily amount Comfort - Basefeed 01 per animal in addition to sufficient (at least 5 kg) hay and straw:
- Light work - max. 500 g per 100 kg live body weight
- Medium-heavy work - max. 650 g per 100 kg live body weight.
The daily feed ration depends on work, breed and roughage ration.
