Silvermoor Recreation Haylage is made only by the Silvermoor team on Silvermoor Farm near Alnwick. All the grasses are specially chosen for their nutritional value and palatability. Designed for horses and ponies in light to medium work, 'Recreation' provides all the nutrition your horse requires from it's forage. Recreation is high fibre, lower sugar and dust free making it suitable for all types of horses from native ponies up to competition horses, It is also suitable for horses at rest providing hard feed is adjusted accordingly Due to being more nutritious than hay Silvermoor Recreation Haylage can help to cut down on the amount of hard feed that is needed, making it a cost effective and more natural way to feed.
Each bale will last the average 500kg horse 3 days. Once opened the haylage will last for approximately 5 days and unopened have a shelf life of 9 months.
