 Dodson & Horrell Competition Concentrate (the new name for Dodson & Horrell Performance Concentrate) is a high specification performance muesli, that provides a combination of fast and slow releasing energy with a very low intake.

Competition Concentrate is a low intake diet that is ideal for Warmbloods, other good-doers such as Cobs or any competing horse or pony that maintains condition easily. It is packed full of nutrients to provide very fast releasing energy to support workload without encouraging weight gain and oats can be added if additional energy and presence are required.

Competition Concentrate combines cooked cereals, highly digestible fibre and oil to give a balance of both fast and slow releasing energy. If fed at the recommended feeding guidelines this diet can in most cases provide sufficient energy for the competition horse, however in situations where more energy is required then oats can be added to the diet without unbalancing the feed providing the additional energy required. The quantity of oats fed can be manipulated according to workload and body condition, for instance when building up to a competition.

Elevated vitamins, minerals and amino acids ensure that no deficiencies occur, helping to maintain body condition and tissue energy reserves whilst replenishing nutrients lost during intense work.
