Dengie Alfa-A Lite is the fibre feed for working horses and ponies who need a lower sugar feed such as horses and ponies prone to laminitis but who need to gain condition or who are in regular work. Alfa-A Lite has been formulated to be very low in sugar, whilst providing an excellent source of slow-release energy. With approximately 9 MJ/kg, Alfa-A Lite provides the same energy per kg as many High Fibre Cubes.

Dengie Alfa-A Lite is made from pure alfalfa which has been chopped and dried at a very high temperature to lock in the natural goodness and ensure the very best quality product for your horse or pony. Alfalfa is an excellent natural source of antioxidants.

How To Get The Most Out Of Feeding With Dengie Alfa-A Lite

Alfa-A Lite can be fed on its own or it can be combined with cubes or a mix, like Dengie Fibremix, for those horses with a higher energy requirement. If good grazing is unavailable and you are feeding Alfa-A Lite as the sole feed, use a broad-spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement or balancer
