The Point Two Air Jacket is a revolutionary protective jacket designed specifically for equestrian use. In the event of a fall, the kids Point Two Air Jacket automatically inflates in 1/10th of a second. Once inflated, as well as offering high protection and shock absorption, the jacket distributes pressure, effectively supporting the spinal column so that the neck and trunk have limited movement, and so reducing the risk of injury.
The Point Two Air Jacket is so lightweight, quick and easy to use and with a simple click your Point Two is connected to the saddle and you're ready to ride.
The Point Two Air Jacket is perfect for those who want the protection of a body protector whilst riding, but dislike the bulk and restricted movement associated with traditional body protectors. The Point Two Air Jacket fits like a gilet and fastens with three clips at the front. As the protection is provided from air from the CO2 cannister, when not inflated the air jacket is remarkably lightweight and comfortable. It is also great for riding in the summer as it does not get too hot like is often the case with a normal body protector.
The Point Two Air Jacket can be worn with or without a traditional body protector, and its simple adjustment system makes it simple alter to fit with or without.
The Point Two Air Jacket connects to the saddle through the lanyard and saddle attachment. Lanyard of the jacket should remain connected to the jacket, and this then easily connects the saddle attachment at the front of the saddle once the rider has mounted. It is important that the saddle attachment is always used and the lanyard is never attached directly to the saddle. The saddle attachment sits neatly at the front of the saddle and should always be connected to the stirrup bars. Spare saddle attachments are available to purchase, and it's a good idea to have one fitted to each saddle you own, so you are always ready to ride in your Point Two Air Jacket.
The Lanyard enables full movement in all directions for the rider. The airbag will only be activated if the rider is separated from the horse. The airbag jacket will then inflate within 0.1 seconds, protecting the all important areas of the body, the collar of the neck, ribs and coccyx.
The fast acting inflation system means that your jacket will be fully inflated after activation in 0.1 of a second, so should inflation begin from as little as 25cm from the ground your Point Two Air Jacket will be inflated before you impact the ground.
The jacket is completely reusable by replacing the CO2 gas cartridge. The highly resistant polyester fabric Jacket or Gilet can be brushed or sponged down to remove stains so keeping the Point Two clean is easy! The durable construction means your jacket should offer you years of reliable protection and with an annual Point Two service you can be assured of your continual safety.
