The Musto brand was established in 1964 in the Olympics in Tokyo when their British team battled their way into the sailing team and their brand became popular from there. In 1978, Musto brought out a fleece jacket and was one of the first clothing Companies to use fleece within their designs in the UK and suddenly became a huge hit. Initially their Musto clothing brand was for sailors as their brand formed because of the sailing influence, but in 1987 they launched an equestrian range which soon hit the equestrian scene with immense popularity.
Since then, they have become well-known within the equestrian industry and continuously provide riders with high quality equestrian attire. In 1992 they were the set brand for the British equestrian Olympians which only made their brand more and more popular. They are constantly expanding and been seen sported by many equestrian professionals and this shows that their brand is high quality and extremely well-made.
They have also since produce a fine line of country clothing and outdoor clothing for many people and are proud of their British heritage by showing it throughout their designs. World eventing champion Zara Phillips joined the Musto team in 2010 and brought her riding experience into the brands’ midst – we stock a variety of clothing from the Zara Phillips range online at Millbry Hill.
